Position Summary:

We are looking for a draftsman to join our office. The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD and GIS, with experience working on statutory and non-statutory urban planning projects. The role involves working closely with urban planners and the planning team to create technically detailed drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare base maps using revenue records, total station survey data, and satellite image interpretation.
• Prepare thematic and statutory drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS.
• Prepare relevant drawings for Development Plans and Town Planning Schemes.
• Work on a variety of tasks related to detailing drawings across different stages of projects.
• Ensure accuracy, neatness, and adherence to timelines for all assigned work.

Education:

• ITI/Diploma in Civil Draughtsman or Certification in AutoCAD.
• Certification in GIS.

Experience:

• Years: 2 to 5 years.
• Industry: Urban Planning

Skills (Mandatory):

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS.
• Strong understanding of urban planning specifications.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Time and priority management
• Ability to detail drawings with precision and clarity.

Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with Civil 3D
• Strong problem-solving skills.
