Specialist - EU/ APAC Taxation

As a detail-oriented and proactive compliance professional, you will play a key role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance within our organization. Your strong analytical skills and solid understanding of VAT statutory regulations will be essential in navigating complex tax environments across multiple regions. You will oversee the preparation and filing of income tax returns, particularly in the APAC region, with a primary emphasis on Singapore. Managing all Withholding Tax filings for the APAC region will be crucial, requiring meticulous record-keeping and compliance with local requirements. Utilizing technology and innovative tools to streamline compliance processes and enhance operational efficiency will also be part of your role. In addition, you will coordinate and provide comprehensive support to client teams by delivering required information and responding to audit requests. Effective liaison with finance contacts and external service providers will be necessary to facilitate this process. Your contribution to the analysis and implementation of corporate policies and initiatives will help align organizational objectives. Regularly reviewing and optimizing workflow processes will be essential to maximize efficiency and the quality of information flow throughout the organization. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with 3-4 years of relevant experience in tax compliance or a similar role. Your strong analytical skills, comprehensive understanding of statutory regulations, and ability to work collaboratively to drive process improvement initiatives will be critical. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in leveraging technology to boost compliance efficiency, are also required.
