About:

Key Responsibilities:

Chiplevel repair: Diagnose and repair faults in PCBs, ICs, and electronic modules of biomedical devices.
Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
Preventive maintenance: Conduct routine checks and servicing of biomedical instruments to ensure reliability.
Compliance & safety: Adhere to biomedical standards, ESD protocols, and hospital safety guidelines.
Documentation: Maintain detailed service logs, repair reports, and calibration records.
Collaboration: Work closely with biomedical engineers, R&D, and hospital staff to ensure smooth operations.
Training support: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians on chiplevel repair practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Diploma/Bachelors in Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
Technical expertise: Strong knowledge of soldering, desoldering, PCB rework, and IC replacement.
Biomedical exposure: Experience servicing equipment such as patient monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, ECG machines, or imaging devices.
Tools proficiency: Skilled in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, hot air guns, soldering stations, and diagnostic software.
Experience: 2–5 years in chiplevel servicing of biomedical or electronic equipment.
Soft skills: Attention to detail, problemsolving ability, and effective communication with medical staff.
