Specialist, Data Analyst, Global Financial Market

In this role at DBS Global Financial Markets (GFM), you will be part of the Data Analytics team, collaborating with Trading & Markets (T&M) teams across different geographies. Your primary responsibility will be to identify business requirements and utilize data analytics for strategic decision-making. You will play a crucial role in defining the analytical strategy to effectively support business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Prioritize tasks based on revenue impact - Achieve data revenue targets - Coordinate data deliverables with multiple stakeholders - Manage data-related tasks such as extraction, transformation, loading, and cleansing using various techniques To succeed in this role, you should possess: - Solid understanding of Financial Markets, especially in Equity, FX, Credit, and Interest Rate products - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Creative mindset with a keen interest in data analytics - Hands-on experience in programming languages like Python and/or R, SQL, or statistical tools such as SAS or SPSS - Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau As a key player in the treasury operations market in Asia, DBS Global Financial Markets (GFM) offers a wide range of capabilities including trading, structuring, and sales in various financial products.
