Specialist-Credit Administration

Role Overview: As a Specialist-Credit Administration in the Wholesale Banking Operations department, your main responsibility is to provide borrowers with an initial good faith estimate at the time of application and ensure all necessary disclosures are provided for both the borrower and lender. You will be part of the Central Processing team, assisting the loan officer and staff by updating loan data into the financial institution's computers and assembling documentation for customer loans. Key Responsibilities: - Process approved commercial and consumer loan applications using automated loan document preparation software. - Select appropriate Title Company, surveyors, appraisers, and other vendors as needed for acquiring necessary vendor services. - Prepare loan documents and closing instruction letters. - Transmit loan document packages to the lenders. - Prepare commercial and SBA loan documents as requested by commercial lenders. - Provide backup support for other team or group positions. - Assemble and/or amend loan documents utilizing LaserPro. - Resolve discrepancies in loan documentation. - Verify lending compliance issues and regulations. - Report HMDA information. - Maintain company policies and underwriting guidelines. - Ensure loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, and relevant data. - Assemble and verify the accuracy of loan documentation. - Check documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates, and signatures. - Maintain new paid consumer loan files. - Perform various clerical duties using office computers for data input and ordering credit reports. - Answer telephone and written inquiries regarding loan processing and information. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Maths, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, Computers, or Management. - Post-graduation in MBA or PGDM. - 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.,
