Specialist - AP Reconciliations

Role Overview: You will be responsible for identifying and understanding open/reconciling items, investigating and following up for resolution, liaising with various teams and departments, ensuring accurate accounting records, and performing clerical and entry-level bookkeeping tasks. Additionally, you will need to complete month-end activities and work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and understand open/reconciling items - Investigate and follow-up for resolution - Liaise with Accounts Receivable, Inventory team, Accounting & reporting team, Local Finance, Customer service group, Vendors, Controllership, Tax team, and Other departments - Ensure accurate accounting records for receipts, disbursements, and other accounting transactions - Perform clerical and entry-level bookkeeping tasks - Apply Accepted Procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records - Complete month end activities - Work effectively in a team environment with ability to understand and react to specific needs of vendors and serviced plant sites - Demonstrate strong organizing and workflow management skills, including establishing priorities and following up on unresolved matters - Flexibility to operate in shifts Qualifications Required: - Masters or Bachelor Degree in Commerce, MBA - SAP knowledge is preferred - Good accounting knowledge - Good Analytical, research, and follow-up skills - Meticulous, accurate, detail-oriented - Good communication skills both verbal and written - Proficient in Microsoft suite, Excel, and PowerPoint - Ability to work within various timelines - Strong team player Company Additional Details: IFF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
