Special Educator (SEN Teacher)

As a Special Educator, your role will involve providing education and support to students with special needs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating patience as students with special needs may require more time to grasp new concepts. - Excelling in communication to effectively collaborate with students, parents, other teachers, and support staff. - Showing empathy towards students" feelings to create a supportive learning environment. - Applying critical thinking skills to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. - Utilizing strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans, student data, and resources effectively. - Being adaptable and flexible in adjusting teaching strategies and materials for diverse learning styles and needs. - Having a passion for teaching, with a genuine desire to help and a positive, energetic mindset to motivate students. In terms of qualifications, a B.Ed. or Diploma in Special Education with an RCI number is mandatory for this position. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Special Educator is required. Please note that this is a full-time position with work location being in person.
