Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our academic team at TIPS Ambattur Campus, Chennai . Role & responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level (AS/A Level) syllabus requirements. Design differentiated lesson plans and assessments tailored to students learning needs. Prepare students thoroughly for Checkpoint, IGCSE and A-Level examinations . Evaluate and track student progress through continuous assessments and provide constructive feedback. Integrate 21st-century teaching methodologies with a strong focus on critical thinking, communication and creativity. Participate in department planning, academic audits, curriculum development, and extracurricular initiatives. Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute to the holistic development of students. Maintain up-to-date documentation related to lesson planning, assessments, and student performance. Attend Inhouse and external national and international teacher training workshops, parent meetings and school events as required. Preferred candidate profile Proficient in CBSE Higher Secondary (or) ISC (or) Cambridge Curriculum, IGCSE English, AS/A Level English Lesson Planning, Student-Centered Teaching, Differentiated Instruction English Language and Literature, Grammar, Poetry, Prose, Drama Assessment for Learning, Academic Reporting, Question Paper Setting Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace / Learning Management Systems
