Key Responsibilities: - Manual Rate Calculations and Premium Rate Coding: - Check employee data for accuracy and reasonableness - Calculate manual rates for renewals and analyze changes year over year - Prepare manual rate calculations for Plan Sponsor queries - Update billing systems and MIS tool - Monitor the Support Team Mailbox for requests and confirmations - Renewal And Financial Preparation: - Verify premium, claims, rates, and reserves for accuracy - Identify and correct erroneous data - Prepare renewal analyses, rate exhibits, and listings for Plan Sponsor - Create financial reports impacting corporate accounting systems - Assist with non-standard reporting and financial estimates - Support in preparing scheduled reporting Qualifications: - Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred - 1-3 years of experience, or exceptional graduates - Strong interest and proficiency in mathematics - Ability to collaborate with team members and various business areas - Proficient in Excel and quick to learn new tools - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Capacity to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and prioritize tasks - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with incomplete information - Customer-centric mindset Additional Company Details: This job description serves as a guide to your responsibilities and qualifications.
