Job Purpose: To lead and manage the flight ticketing operations, ensuring seamless issuance, re-issuance, cancellation, and refund processes for domestic and international travel. The role involves overseeing the ticketing team, optimizing service quality, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring profitability and compliance with airline and company standards. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Supervise and manage the day-to-day flight ticketing operations for both B2B and B2C clients. Handle domestic and international flight bookings, cancellations, reissuances, and refunds efficiently. Monitor and manage ticketing queues, fare rules, and airline guidelines. Ensure timely issuance of tickets and smooth coordination with airlines and consolidators. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the ticketing team to achieve performance and accuracy standards. Allocate tasks and monitor team productivity and customer service levels. Conduct regular team briefings on fare updates, airline circulars, and policy changes. Vendor & Airline Relations: Maintain strong working relationships with airlines, consolidators, and GDS partners. Negotiate special fares, credit facilities, and incentives with airlines to enhance profitability. Technical Expertise: Proficient in using GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre. Stay updated with airline fare structures, ticketing policies, and IATA regulations. Reporting & Analysis: Generate daily/weekly reports on ticketing transactions, revenue, and operational efficiency. Track refunds, ADM/ACM reconciliation, and manage airline disputes. Customer Service: Ensure high levels of service quality and timely responses to client queries and escalations. Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless travel experiences for customers. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of domestic and international airfares and ticketing procedures. Excellent command of GDS systems (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre). Leadership and team management skills. Negotiation and vendor relationship management. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate / Postgraduate in Travel & Tourism or a related field. 815 years of experience in air ticketing, with at least 35 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role . IATA certification preferred. Salary: Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
