As a Full Time Non-Management Food and Beverage & Culinary staff member at Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Whitefield, your role will involve various responsibilities: - Prepare special meals or substitute items - Regulate the temperature of kitchen equipment - Pull out food items for thawing - Ensure proper portioning and food presentation - Maintain food logs - Monitor food quality and quantity - Communicate assistance needed during busy periods - Inform the Chef about excess food items for daily specials You will also be involved in managerial tasks such as: - Assisting in hiring, training, and scheduling employees - Evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching staff - Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures - Report any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions - Complete safety training - Maintain a clean and professional appearance - Protect company assets - Anticipate guest service needs Additionally, you will need to: - Develop positive relationships with team members - Adhere to quality standards - Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting objects up to 25 pounds, and bending - Carry out any other reasonable job duties requested by Supervisors promptly Preferred qualifications for this role include: - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree - At least 3 years of related work experience No supervisory experience or specific licenses or certifications are required for this position.
