Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a South Indian Chef located in Mumbai. The South Indian Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of South Indian dishes, ensuring the quality and consistency of meals, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Additional duties include menu planning, sourcing ingredients, managing inventory, and collaborating with the kitchen staff to provide an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in preparing South Indian cuisine
  • Knowledge of ingredients, spices, and culinary techniques specific to South Indian cooking
  • Experience in menu planning and recipe development
  • Skills in kitchen management, including inventory control and sourcing ingredients
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate with kitchen staff
  • Prior experience as a Chef in a similar role is preferred
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is beneficial
