Sourcing Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Float enquires to vendors for raw materials for Generics, Synthesis, Labs Chemicals & Reference standards, on the receipt of purchase requisitions.
2. Release purchase orders for raw materials, by taking approval from authorized personnel.
3. Regular follow-up with the vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials for R&D and Plant
4. Submit requests for TT/Advance/PDCs/LCs to finance department and follow up with them to ensure release of payments to vendors for timely dispatches.
5. Update status file, starting from tracking new indents to delivery of materials.
6. Suggest alternative vendors to end user in order to get advantage in price and delivery.
7. Maintenance of Data base & preparation of MIS reports.
8. In absence of reporting person, needs to inform to the next level of higher authority.

Preferred candidate profile

Good Communication Skills

Having good knowledge on RM's and new vendor development.

Good Knowledge on SAP
