Sourcing Engineer
- Evaluate supplier proposals for cost, lead time, quality and risk, prepare Estimate and execute Orders
- Source the Required Parts from Qualified/New Vendors- Assess suppliers, company health, performance and capability to deliver products and services- Assess quality of products to our expected standards and quality- Negotiate pricing terms and conditions- Assess risk, issues and opportunities from suppliers end- Monitor and manage supplier performance including root cause and recovery for Escalations- Initiate Vendor improvement activities and integrate results into Vendor Contracts- Review and monitor purchase requisitions- Make sure the Sourcing is optimized for quality, margin and lead time.
