Job Description

As a specialist in Zero Based Costing for Automotive Lighting, Display & Infotainment Parts, PCBA, Bare PCB, HV/LV harness, Motor, and Electrical Vehicle Parts, your role will involve making Electrical and Electronics part cost estimations based on specifications. You will need to come up with cost optimization ideas derived from market references and competitive parts. It is crucial to have a good command of costing software like TcPCM and be adept at structuring pricing, estimating BOM, and nurturing supplier relationships. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing a sourcing strategy to meet customer requirements and supporting new product launches to ensure supplier quality aligns with the necessary standards. Implementing various cost calculation techniques such as Zero-base costing, activity-based costing, and directional costing will be part of your responsibilities to estimate and budget component prices effectively. Having knowledge of import & export incoterms will be beneficial for your role, as you will be calculating and analyzing landed costs for various global zones. Monitoring the readiness of parts and materials to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards, coordinating logistics and dispatch, and managing any issues related to part readiness or dispatch promptly to avoid delays in the production process will also be essential tasks.
