Responsible for end to end ownership of orders-from buyer communications to vendor management.
To on-board and manage vendors suited to product requirement on favourable payment terms.
To own deliveries and correct product in required quality and sharp lead time.
To negotiate, close costs with buyer as well as vendors
Work with QAM to ensure correct product-on time, every time.
To maintain TNA, adhere to it, and daily report to management.
Should have deep industry connect in Tirupur and nearby areas. Should be able to on-board factories, fabric suppliers, processing houses, printers, trims suppliers, and job work units.
Methodical, process oriented, strong knowledge in all garment manufacturing processes.
Should be able to handle orders across spectrum-from low to high moq, from low to high price points, and value to premium product requirements.
Excellent communication skills-written and verbal.
Well versed with all knits products.
Excellent command over product costings.
Should thrive in an aggressive and fast paced working environment.
Self-starter, initiative taker, loves to take ownership of product.
MS office-very good with excel.
Previous experience in buying office preferred.
