Solution Design Expert

As a Solution Design Expert at Hitachi Digital Services, you will play a crucial role in designing infrastructure solutions with your 10+ years of experience in data center and Public Cloud Infrastructure Deployment & Design. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating and leading solution designs for internal customers, ensuring they meet business requirements - Developing project rationale and scoping assessments to determine project feasibility - Taking into account the overall user experience when designing and deploying new solutions and services - Ensuring that implemented solutions adhere to specifications and are fit for purpose - Ensuring that designs align with the architectural roadmap and support software/service development, execution, and operations - Planning deployments with Project Managers and Operations Team, including deployments between development environments and validation/production organizations - Reviewing deployment packages with developers, preparing checklists and scripts for manual deployments, and documentation - Having strong work experience in On-premises Storage and Connectivity technologies - Possessing knowledge of various technologies such as OS, network, disaster recovery, high availability, firewalls, load balancers, VPC, subnet, routing, VPN, DNS, leading DevOps Tools & Technologies, Docker containers, Kubernetes cluster deployment, and management - Working with cloud-related services and security measures, VMware ESX, Citrix, Dell Storage, Blades servers, Converged and Hyper-converged platforms, IaaS, PaaS solution implementation (AWS), LAN, WAN, middleware technologies, GxP compliance environment, and more - Ensuring operational integrity and providing technical and application guidance and support throughout engagements - Collaborating with multiple stakeholders at the business functional level to understand security/compliance requirements and propose solutions - Designing solutions with a focus on both Datacenter & Cloud concepts, proposing initiatives for improvement, and participating in various PoCs - Mentoring other team members and contributing to the growth of the practice through your subject matter expertise You will be part of a global team of innovators at Hitachi Digital Services, where diversity, equity, and inclusion are integral to the culture.
