As a Solution Architect at Western Union, you will collaborate with a team of engineers with diverse responsibilities encompassing various aspects of software engineering such as requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, and software configuration management. Your role will involve building optimized, well-organized, maintainable products, systems, and services that significantly impact end-users. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team to ensure timely technical delivery of assigned projects with a strong emphasis on quality. - Develop and implement new software solutions, enhance existing software, and focus on code optimization and organization. - Identify and recommend enhancements to current software programs. - Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolutions with operational, functional, and technical teams. - Collaborate with a geographically dispersed software development team and service providers. - Provide guidance and mentorship to Senior Associates, Associates, and Junior Associates. - Independently handle complex projects. - Implement Agile methodology daily and adhere to the Definition of Done (DoD) process to ensure better quality through unit tests, code coverage, and integration test coverage. Key Requirements: - Proficiency in ReactJS, React Native, Redux, HTML, CSS, and Typescript. - Experience in Native iOS or Native Android is advantageous. - Strong knowledge of mobile-specific aspects like push notifications, in-app purchases, and store publishing workflows. - Expertise in low-latency data strategies using SQLite, Realm, etc., for enhanced mobile app performance. - In-depth understanding of performance optimization techniques including lazy loading, code splitting, SSR, and Webpack-based bundling. - Familiarity with SOLID Principles, API management, REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture. - Skilled in developing highly responsive and accessible web applications using React.js with a focus on cross-device UI/UX compatibility. - Proficient in Git, Jenkins, Docker, and AppStore Management. - AWS Cloud Certification is desirable.
