Job Title :Solution ArchitectJob Location: BangaloreJob Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with deep domain expertise in core banking systems to lead solution design, integration, and transformation initiatives across retail, corporate, and digital banking landscapes. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture that aligns with the bankstrategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:Design end-to-end solution architecture for core banking systems, including integrations with satellite applications.Lead the assessment, design, and implementation of core banking transformation initiatives (e.g., system upgrade, re-platforming, cloud migration).Define and maintain architecture principles, standards, and best practices in line with regulatory, security, and operational requirements.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solution designs and target architecture blueprints.Develop and validate solution design documents (HLDs, LLDs), including data flow diagrams, system interfaces, and security models.Own the application and integration architecture, ensuring seamless data flow between the core banking platform and external\/internal systems (e.g., CRM, treasury, AML, regulatory reporting, payments, digital channels).Provide governance and oversight on the technical delivery by internal teams and third-party vendors.Conduct impact analysis, gap assessments, and propose modernization strategies, including API-led architectures, microservices, and cloud-native adoption.Work closely with Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Data teams to ensure non-functional requirements (e.g., scalability, resiliency, DR, performance) are met.Support RFP evaluations and vendor assessments from an architecture standpoint.Required Qualifications & Skills:Bacheloror Masterdegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in solution architecture roles in the core banking domain.Proven expertise in one or more core banking.Strong understanding of banking business processes: CASA, Loans, Trade Finance, Payments, Treasury, GL, etc.Experience designing solutions across retail, corporate, and digital banking channels.Proficiency in integration technologies: REST\/SOAP APIs, MQ, Kafka, ISO 20022\/8583.Knowledge of security, compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, local banking regulations), and data governance.Preferred Skills:Experience with banking modernization initiatives, including legacy system decommissioning.Exposure to open banking, BaaS (Banking-as-a-Service), and digital core banking platforms.Understanding of Agile\/SAFe delivery models and enterprise integration patterns.Ability to mentor junior architects and lead architecture reviews and steering committees.Key Attributes:Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to solving problems.Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.Ability to operate in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines and regulatory demands.
