Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end architecture for Manufacturing IT solutions including MES, SCADA, ERP integration, RFID and IIoT.
• Define and maintain enterprise architecture blueprints for smart manufacturing platforms aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.( Litmus, Wipro Linecraft, Siemens Edge, AVEVA Connect etc)
• Select appropriate technology stacks, integration frameworks, and cloud/on-prem architectures.

• Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, IT, and business leaders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct architecture workshops and technical deep-dives with cross-functional teams.

• Technology Implementation

• Guide the development and deployment of MES platforms , Manufacturing IT platforms, bespoke MES development, Edge Platforms, Cloud Platforms, HIstorian
• Oversee solution lifecycle PoC, pilot, scale-up, and sustainment.
• Integrate OT/IT systems including sensors, PLCs, SCADA, and ERP (SAP or Oracle).

• Standards & Compliance

• Ensure solutions comply with security, data governance, ISA 95, S88 standards etc
• Contribute to the development of IT/OT governance frameworks.

• Innovation & Strategy

• Drive innovation through use of edge computing, AI/ML in manufacturing, digital twins, and predictive analytics.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing IT or MES and Industrial Automation space
• 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect or Technical Lead role.
• Deep knowledge of MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, GE Proficy, Rockwell FTPC, or Dassault DELMIA Apriso.
• Hands on experience in full stack programming
• Database like SQL, POstgress, Oracle
• Experience integrating with ERP (SAPS/4HANA, Oracle) and SCADA/PLC systems.
• Hands-on understanding of IIoT protocols (OPC UA, MQTT), edge computing, and cloud (Azure/AWS) solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, ISA-95, ISA-88, and Industry 4.0 reference models.

Good to Have Qualifications :

• Certifications in TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architecture, or MES platforms.
• Experience with digital thread and digital twin implementations.
• Familiarity with AI/ML use cases in manufacturing.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps for industrial environments
