As a Solution Architect at EY, you will be part of the GDS Assurance Digital team, tasked with developing, implementing, and integrating innovative technology solutions to better serve our audit clients and enhance engagement processes. Your role within EY's core Assurance practice will involve deepening your technical expertise in auditing, mastering database management, data analytics, and programming skills. In today's regulatory landscape, audit functions face the challenge of handling vast amounts of data from diverse systems within organizations. EY's GDS Assurance Digital team collaborates closely with partners, clients, and technical experts to create technology solutions that add value, streamline processes, and equip clients with cutting-edge tools for Assurance services. Key responsibilities include providing solution architecture, developing applications, conducting testing, and offering maintenance support to EY's global Assurance service line. EY is currently seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the GDS Assurance Digital practice in Bangalore, India, focusing on Microsoft technology-based projects for clients worldwide. Requirements for the role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance, or related fields, coupled with significant industry experience. Essential technical skills encompass expertise in building windows and web applications, integrating systems, and proficiency in technologies such as .NET, Kubernetes, Azure, and Single Page Applications. Possessing a certified architect certification on Azure (AZ-304 & AZ-305) is preferred, along with strong competencies in application design, SOA, Microservices, Azure Stack, MVC, SPA, Entity Framework, RDBMS, NO-SQL Database, DevOps, and information security. As a Solution Architect, you will be expected to demonstrate strong analytical skills, make informed decisions, communicate effectively, collaborate within a team structure, and adhere to best practices in software development. Additionally, maintaining long-term client relationships, cultivating business opportunities, delivering high-quality client services, and showcasing excellent presentation and communication abilities are integral to this role.
