Solution Architect (Java)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with extensive experience in Java and a strong background in product development and integration. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, Postgres, and Kafka, and will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and robust solutions that meet business requirements. Responsibilities: Architectural Design: Design and architect scalable, high-performance, and robust solutions using Java and related technologies. Product Development: Lead the development and integration of products, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. Cloud Integration: Utilize AWS services to build and deploy cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability. Database Management: Design and manage databases using Postgres, ensuring data integrity and performance. Messaging Systems: Implement and manage messaging systems using Kafka for real-time data processing and integration. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to define technical requirements and deliverables. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Quality Assurance: Ensure solutions are tested and meet quality standards, implementing best practices for code quality and performance. Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation, technical specifications, and other relevant documentation. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve solutions. Qualifications: Experience: 12+ years of experience in solution architecture and product development, with a strong focus on Java. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Java, AWS, Postgres, and Kafka, with a deep understanding of their integration and application. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide development teams. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
