Solution Architect

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architecture for core banking systems, including integrations with satellite applications.
• Lead the assessment, design, and implementation of core banking transformation initiatives (e.g., system upgrade, re-platforming, cloud migration).
• Define and maintain architecture principles, standards, and best practices in line with regulatory, security, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solution designs and target architecture blueprints.
• Develop and validate solution design documents (HLDs, LLDs), including data flow diagrams, system interfaces, and security models.
• Own the application and integration architecture, ensuring seamless data flow between the core banking platform and external/internal systems (e.g., CRM, treasury, AML, regulatory reporting, payments, digital channels).
• Provide governance and oversight on the technical delivery by internal teams and third-party vendors.
• Conduct impact analysis, gap assessments, and propose modernization strategies, including API-led architectures, microservices, and cloud-native adoption.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Data teams to ensure non-functional requirements (e.g., scalability, resiliency, DR, performance) are met.
• Support RFP evaluations and vendor assessments from an architecture standpoint.
