Design solution architectures for the finance systems and platforms ensuring all relevant options are explored for time, cost and compliance to the company’s standards, policies and practices whilst meeting the business’ requirements. The role will coordinate with other/junior architects in the delivery of the solution for clients, shepherding it through the relevant governance.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate system architecture for finance function - integrating IT systems per organizational needs & aligned to the enterprise architecture; - Comply with all governance and due diligence applicable to the solution
Propose & define solution design options based on requirements and the standards, patterns and procedures; Provide recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions
Evaluate project constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and propose process re-engineering if required
Walkthrough the to-be solution through forums such as 'Business Playback'. Address solution related questions, concerns from the business. Provide suitable solutions/workarounds
Review and approve relevant documents like Solution Design Document, Functional Design Document, Technical Design Document etc.
Supervise and guide development teams throughout the project lifecycle
Provide solutions guidance to technical/business teams for post implementation issues during Hypercare and steady-state operations
Review and approve change requests - from architecture/solutions perspective
Document and share best practice knowledge for new solutions, keep assessing process improvements
Continuously research emerging technologies and propose changes to the existing architecture

Professional Skills & Knowledge

8+ years total experience comprising a blend of business analysis, development & solution architecture in Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) F&O product in an integrated architecture
In depth knowledge of 'Procure-to-Pay', 'Order-to-Cash', 'Record-to-Report' business processes and associated solutions in D365
In-depth knowledge of D365 configurations and features including localizations
Good knowledge of D365 customizations/custom extensions and Reporting
In-depth knowledge of inbound and outbound integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365
Good knowledge of Azure Devops tools and Devops processes
Experience in various software designs, languages, and architecture
Proficient in solution definition and problem-solving skills
Thorough understanding of design engineering principles and best practices
Strong understanding of analytical skills and techniques
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to liaise with business stakeholders & technology teams
Broad technical expertise combined with strong leadership and communication capabilities to drive innovation and change
Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and Devops processes
Exposure to Azure Devops
