Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SolidWorks Design Engineer with a strong background in metal handling, packaging systems, pneumatics, and Special Purpose Machines (SPM) for automation applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and detailing mechanical components and systems used in industrial automation and packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom machinery and automation systems using SolidWorks.

• Work on design projects involving metal handling equipment, packaging solutions, and SPMs.

• Apply knowledge of pneumatics and motion systems to design effective automation setups.

• Create detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing drawings.

• Conduct tolerance analysis, material selection, and ensure DFM/DFA standards.

• Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, and automation teams during project execution.

• Modify designs based on feedback and conduct design validations.

• Ensure projects are completed on time while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks.

• Strong experience in:

o Metal handling equipment design

o Packaging machinery

o Pneumatic systems

o SPM (Special Purpose Machines) and automation

• Solid understanding of GD&T, materials, and industrial manufacturing processes.

• Ability to manage multiple design projects with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
