Soldering Technician

Job Title: Graphic Designer

About the Role:

The Soldering Technician is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components on PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), wire harnesses, and other modules used in drone systems. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of soldering techniques and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hand soldering of electronic components (SMD & Through-hole) on PCBs for drone control systems and payload modules.
• Inspect and rework defective boards and assemblies using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Assemble wire harnesses, connectors, and other electromechanical components as per the wiring diagrams.
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Maintain soldering equipment and ensure workstations are clean and organized.
• Ensure high quality and reliability of soldered joints and assemblies.
• Perform functional testing of basic assemblies where applicable.
• Follow ESD safety protocols and IPC standards (IPC-A-610/IPC J-STD-001 preferred).
• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to resolve assembly-related issues.
• Document work and report production status to supervisors regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Electronics or related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in soldering and electronics assembly (preferably in UAVs, electronics, or aerospace).
• Proficient in using soldering irons, hot air rework stations, and basic testing tools (multimeters, magnifiers).
• Familiarity with ESD-safe practices and quality standards.
• Certification in IPC-A-610 or similar is a plus.
• Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with drone electronics, flight controllers, GPS modules, RF systems, or embedded systems.
• Soldering fine-pitch components and rework of complex PCBs.
