Solar Site Engineer

As a Solar Site Engineer at Seven Solar Energy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects in and around Morbi. We are seeking a hands-on, energetic individual with basic field experience and a strong willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to clean energy implementation. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the site installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems, supervising site work, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring adherence to design and safety standards. You will support project planning and day-to-day execution under the guidance of senior engineers, conduct site surveys, troubleshoot basic electrical/structural issues during installation, and prepare daily progress reports. To excel in this role, you should hold a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering and have 6 months to 2 years of on-site experience in solar EPC or electrical installations. Basic knowledge of solar PV components, wiring, structures, and inverters is essential, along with the ability to read basic layout drawings and understand system configuration. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are highly valued, as well as a willingness to travel locally and be present on project sites daily. Preferred skills for this position include experience with residential or industrial rooftop projects, knowledge of the net metering process and safety compliance, and familiarity with tools like AutoCAD or mobile-based reporting apps. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule, and the work location is in person at Surat, Gujarat.
