Solar Engineer - Sales & Projects

You will be working as a SOLAR Engineer in Gaborone, Botswana, Africa for Apex Solar Botswana, a company specializing in solar solutions with three main business verticals: Sale of Retail/Wholesale Solar Equipment, EPC for Solar Projects/Solutions, and IPP as an investor cum developer. Your responsibilities will include supporting technical sales discussions, preparing techno-commercial proposals, analyzing ROI and energy savings, liaising with procurement and utility companies, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, conducting site assessments, and collaborating with the design team. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Solar PV Systems, a Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, familiarity with tender documents, proficiency in design tools like PVsyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD, a good understanding of MS Office, ability to read electrical engineering drawings, and proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Possession of a valid 4-wheel driving license and passport is required.
