Solar Civil Quality Asst Manager

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement quality management plans for civil works related to solar projects.
• Establish and monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

2. Inspections and Audits:

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess workmanship, materials, and construction practices.
• Identify non-conformities and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance records.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.

4. Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality best practices and processes.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure that all civil works comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices within the project execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in quality management within the construction or renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering standards and practices specific to solar energy projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead inspections, audits, and quality assessments effectively.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
