Software Tester

As a Software Tester/QA Engineer at YMTS INDIA, your role involves designing, developing, and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans. You will be conducting manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of software applications. Your responsibilities also include identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using bug tracking tools, as well as collaborating with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and resolve defects. Additionally, you will be performing regression, functional, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT), validating fixes, and ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices. Generating detailed test reports and providing feedback for improvements will also be part of your key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans - Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure software quality - Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools - Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and resolve defects - Perform regression, functional, system, performance, and UAT - Validate fixes and perform re-testing of resolved issues - Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices - Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback for improvements Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Proven experience as a Software Tester/QA Engineer - Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail) - Experience with manual and automated testing techniques - Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus - Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Experience with API testing and performance testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter) - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices If you meet these qualifications and are passionate about software testing, apply now by contacting us at careers@ymtsindia.com or reaching out to our HR team at +91-8688400283.
