Software Tester

Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tester responsible for evaluating software to identify and resolve defects. The role ensures that products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities: Analyze user stories and requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. Execute manual and automated tests on software applications. Identify, document, and track bugs or issues using established tools. Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand issues and ensure effective resolution. Participate in regression testing to validate changes and updates. Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements. Ensure compliance with established standards and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proven experience 2 - 4 years in software testing (manual or automated). Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira.), version control system (e.g., Git), Other effective tools for testing. Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies Good communication and collaboration abilities. Key Requirements: Strong attention to detail with an eye for perfection in identifying inconsistencies, anomalies, and deviations from expected behavior. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit). Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C, C++).
