We are looking for an experienced Software Tester capable of designing test suites and should
have the ability to understand usability issues. A Software Tester is responsible fordesigning testing scenarios for usability testing. This includes performing automatedand manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. Yourprimary responsibility will be involved in the quality assurance stage of softwaredevelopment and deployment. Thus, possessing a good knowledge of softwareDevelopment Life Cycle is essential.

Role & responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios based on requirements.
  
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
  
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
  
• Log, track, and retest bugs; ensure timely resolution.
  
• Collaborate with developers and product teams in Agile/Scrum environment.
  
• Set up and manage test environments.
  
• Validate APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI; Rest-assured is a plus.
  
• Reproduce customer-reported issues in local setup.
  
• Provide usability and serviceability feedback.

• Participate in automation testing efforts and be willing to learn automation tools and frameworks as part of the role.

Preferred candidate profile

• Any graduate or diploma holder; a Bachelors degree in IT or a related field will be an added advantage.
  
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
  
• Familiarity with PHP and basic scripting (a plus).
  
• Hands-on experience working in Agile teams.
  
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  
• Exposure to API testing and basic automation tools.
