The Role:

As a QA Engineer at Sav, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and user trust across our mobile and web platforms. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to validate features end-to-end, identify issues early, and continuously raise the quality bar as we scale.

Test new features and releases across iOS, Android, and Web platforms

Execute detailed manual test cases and validate complex user journeys including onboarding, KYC, payments, cards, savings, and investing flows

Ensure features meet functional, usability, and reliability expectations before release

2. Bug Identification & Tracking

Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, logs, and context

Collaborate closely with engineers to reproduce issues, prioritize fixes, and validate resolutions

Perform re-testing and regression checks post-fix

3. Test Case & Test Plan Ownership

Create, maintain, and execute structured test cases and test plans for new features and releases

Own regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable as the product evolves

Continuously improve test coverage and QA processes

4. Collaboration with Product & Engineering

Work closely with product managers and engineers during sprint planning, development cycles, and releases

Participate in stand-ups, demos, and reviews, providing timely QA feedback

Flag potential risks early and contribute to product quality decisions

5. Automation Support & Quality Improvement

Contribute to or support test automation efforts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress

Write and maintain basic automated test scripts where applicable

Suggest improvements to testing frameworks, tools, and overall QA practices

Experience and qualifications:

Good to Have :

1. Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress)

2. Basic scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or similar)

3. Experience working in fintech, payments, or regulated environments

4. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release workflows
