As a Software Test Engineer specializing in Performance Testing at Flexday AI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, executing, and analyzing performance tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test plans and strategies. - Identifying performance bottlenecks, providing optimization recommendations, and developing test scripts using scripting languages such as Python, Java, etc. - Monitoring system resources, diagnosing performance issues, and documenting test plans, cases, and results for future reference. To excel in this role, you should possess: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - At least 3 years of experience in software testing with a focus on performance testing. - Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. - Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools, as well as experience with scripting languages for test automation. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and collaboration abilities. - The capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and relevant certifications in performance testing (e.g., ISTQB Performance Testing Certification) would be advantageous.
