Software Tester

As a Software Test Engineer with a minimum of 3+ years of experience specializing in Performance Testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our software products under various conditions. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, executing, and analyzing performance tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools to simulate load and stress conditions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining performance test scripts using scripting languages such as Python, Java, or others, monitoring system resources during performance tests, diagnosing performance issues, and troubleshooting as necessary. It is essential to document test plans, test cases, and test results thoroughly for future reference and reporting, as well as collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to address performance-related issues. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing with a focus on performance testing. You should have a strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, as well as proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or others for test automation is required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are also essential. Relevant certifications in performance testing, such as ISTQB Performance Testing Certification, are considered a plus.
