Software Tester

Dataspot Technologies LLP, a leading technology solutions provider headquartered in the UAE with branches in Saudi Arabia, the UK, Ireland, and India, is expanding its quality assurance team in Calicut. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Tester to ensure the highest quality standards for our projects. As a Software Tester at Dataspot Technologies LLP, your key responsibilities will include conducting manual testing to ensure product functionality, usability, and performance. You will also be responsible for performing performance testing to assess system stability and reliability under different conditions, executing API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar platforms, and working with version control systems (e.g., Git) to track and manage changes in the codebase. Additionally, you will collaborate with development and QA teams to identify, document, and resolve bugs, develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, plans, and reports, and participate in regular project meetings to provide insights for continuous improvement. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications or training in Software Testing. You should have 1-2 years of experience in manual testing and quality assurance, a solid understanding of testing principles, best practices, and methodologies, familiarity with performance testing and API testing tools, proficiency with version control systems (preferably Git), strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
