Software Test Engineer, specialised in Automation Testing

Ionob Innovations LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Tester to join the team in Kozhikode. As a Software Tester, your primary responsibilities will include executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the overall quality of ERP software systems and web applications. Female candidates should possess a minimum of one year of experience in software testing. Your key responsibilities will involve designing, documenting, and executing detailed test plans and test cases. You will be required to conduct manual and automated testing across web and ERP platforms, as well as identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA. Additionally, performing functional, integration, regression, UI/UX, and performance testing will be crucial. Collaboration with developers, project managers, and business analysts to resolve issues and enhance test automation frameworks will also be part of your role. You will be expected to prepare quality reports, provide regular feedback on product quality, participate in sprint planning, and ensure QA processes are followed. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in software/QA testing. A strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and SDLC is essential. Experience with ERP or enterprise-level applications, familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools, knowledge of databases, basic SQL queries, and web technologies are preferred. Proficiency in automation testing, particularly with Selenium or similar tools, along with strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills are desired. The ability to work independently and collaboratively is crucial.
