Software Test Engineer

As a QA Engineer with 4-8 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in our client's team by demonstrating strong manual testing skills and possessing basic automation knowledge. Your responsibilities will include test planning, execution, defect tracking, and mentoring junior team members in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You should have at least 4-8 years of manual QA experience and a solid grasp of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies. Proficiency in SQL for data validation and experience with Postman for API testing are essential for this role. Ideally, you should also have exposure to tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, scripting knowledge in Python or Java, and familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices. Your key responsibilities will involve leading manual testing for various applications, designing and executing test cases and scripts, managing defects using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira, and performing different types of testing such as functional, regression, UI, and integration. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor junior QA staff, support basic automation testing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and actively participate in test planning and requirements analysis.
