Company Name: Jnana Inventive Location: Perungudi, Chennai Internship Duration: 6 Months Stipend: ₹5,000 – ₹7,000 per month (based on performance) About the Opportunity: At Jnana Inventive , we’re seeking a Test Engineer Intern who is passionate about software quality and eager to kickstart their career in QA. This internship will offer hands-on experience with live projects, exposure to client interactions, and opportunities to grow into a full-time role based on performance. Responsibilities: Execute manual testing for both mobile and web applications Prepare detailed test cases , test plans, and bug reports Identify, document, and track software defects using project management tools Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, understand changes, and provide testing feedback Collaborate closely with developers and designers to ensure product quality Perform regression testing , UI/UX checks, and cross-browser testing Ensure attention to detail in every task and maintain high-quality documentation Requirements: Completed Manual Testing course (certified or hands-on training) Knowledge of mobile and web application testing Strong skills in writing, documentation , and spoken communication Willingness to communicate directly with clients Must be an active listener and capable of understanding client briefs and feedback clearly Positive attitude with a keen eye for detail Must be a team player and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks Must bring their own laptop Must work on-site from our Perungudi office Ability to participate in a variety of testing tasks based on project needs What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience in real-time testing projects Exposure to client communication and real-world QA workflows Structured mentorship from experienced testers and developers Clear opportunity to convert into a full-time Test Engineer role based on performance Join us at Jnana Inventive and take the first step toward a rewarding career in software testing.
