Software Test Engineer - Asset Testing - Banking Domain, Chennai

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst with a strong background in LOS & LMS. Retails Loans in Oracle Flexcube Application is added advantage. Key responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester with strong Banking domain knowledge in Retail and Corporate Loan modules within Indian banking systems. Candidate will take an ownership for entire loan origination workflows, compliance with RBI guidelines, and ensuring end-to-end quality of the Loan Origination and Loan Management processes. Qualification, Experience & Skill Set Required: • Proven experience in various types of testing in any core banking system. • Understand business requirements FSD and BRD documents. • Develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of Oracle Flexcube Application. • Strong knowledge in Handling Liabilities modules like CASA, TD, Payments, Funds Transfer, OD,ELCM. • Strong knowledge in Handling Assets modules like Retails Loans, Corporate Loans and LOS, FCC and FCR, Deposit and clearing. • Understand the Payments OBPM (NEFT, RTGS & IMPS), Journal Acc, GEFU, Reports. • Experience working in functionalities like Loan Origination, Loan Disbursement, Loan Repayment, NPA movements. • Good Knowledge in GL and accounting entries on Asset modules. • Have hands on experience in SQL queries. • Ability to sustain delivery timelines under tight deadlines. • Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills, proven ability to translate business requirements into technology specifications. • Strong knowledge in API Testing using POSTMAN. Required Skills & Experience: • Minimum 5+ years of experience in manual testing in Bank and NBFC. • Proficient in preparing test strategies, test cases, defect logging, and tracking. • Familiarity with JIRA, ALM/Quality Center, or similar test management tools. • Strong analytical and communication skills. • Good to have Agile methodology. Qualification: Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent
