The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What youll achieve
As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customers business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. You will:

Design and implement highly scalable, distributed systems with advanced data mobility features.
Serve as a technical leader, conducting deep design and code reviews to ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions.
Lead initiatives to integrate AI technologies into PowerStore data mobility solutions.
Mentor and guide senior and principal engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the Scrum teams work aligns with business objectives.

Essential Requirements

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (Masters or Ph.D. preferred) with 10-12 years of software engineering experience, including significant leadership in complex, distributed systems.
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java (RxJava), C++, Python and multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows).
Proven ability to apply advanced software engineering concepts and design patterns in building complex, distributed systems.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills to drive team collaboration.
Hands-on experience with AI technologies, including AI tools, LLMs, and agentic AI frameworks.

Desirable Requirements

Experience in the storage domain or large-scale data systems.
