Software Quality Assurance Manager

The QA Automation Manager will lead the QA automation team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. You should have a strong technical background in UI and API automation, along with proven leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of QA professionals. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing the QA automation team, setting goals, providing mentorship, and conducting performance reviews. You will devise test automation approaches/strategies, support architects in creating/implementing/enhancing automation frameworks, and help develop and maintain automated test scripts in Visual Studio using git for version control and Azure DevOps for project management. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and stakeholders, is essential to define and execute QA strategies. You will manage and execute end-to-end project plans to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases. Experience in product testing in Agile environments and knowledge of integrating CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps are required. Technical requirements include strong hands-on experience in UI automation using Selenium and C#, proficiency in Visual Studio, git, Azure, and Azure DevOps, and experience with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow. You should have proven expertise in API testing, automated testing, and knowledge of API automation tools like RestSharp. Soft skills such as excellent communication, positive attitude, people management, project management, and stakeholder management are crucial. To be successful in this role, you should have 12+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, and certification in agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe) is a plus.
