Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Support development and implementation of Quality Management System based on ISO9001 and CMMI Standards

• Conduct Internal audits to assess the organizations compliance with Quality standards, policies and procedures.
  
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure processes and service delivery meets defined quality requirements.
  
• Identify non-conformities, gaps and areas of improvement through Audits and other Initiatives.
  
• Conduct RCA and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
  
• Stay updated with latest industry standards and regulations related to quality management and share with team members.
  
• Maintain the process assets library for the company, including all process definitions, templates, and document samples.
  
• Provides support on special projects, department initiatives, and other activities depending on the needs of the business.
  
• Actively participate and contribute to CMMI initiative working with internal teams & external consulting firms to ensure successful implementation of CMMI V2.0.
  

Required Competencies

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in IT industry.
  
• Good understanding of ISO9001, ISO27001, SOC2 and their practical application within IT industry.
  
• Experience in conducting internal audits and assessing compliance with quality standards.
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns and areas of improvement.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate the quality processes.
  
• Knowledge of Risk Management,
  
• Experience in Agile Project execution and understanding of Agile metrics. Understanding of Software development Processes and Metrics.
  
• Exposure to various Software project execution tools including AI tool landscape.
  
• Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry best practices.
  

Requirements

• B Tech/BE/MCA (ITCSE discipline) with relevant experience in SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ONLY
