Role

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to develop and execute both exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. As a QA Engineer at Dori, you will play a key role in ensuring that our software solutions run smoothly and meet the highest quality standards before being deployed to clients. You will work closely with the development, product, and data science teams to identify issues, propose improvements, and maintain the quality of our AI-powered solutions.

Key

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers, product managers, and data scientists) to identify system requirements.
• Monitor debugging processes and track test results.
• Investigate causes of non-conforming software and work with teams to implement solutions.
• Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven experience in software development and software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of Python programming, SQL, scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Familiarity with performance testing and security testing is a plus.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred

• Proven experience in software development and software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with regression, white-box, black-box testing.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest, Selenium, and JUnit.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Familiarity with performance testing and security testing is a plus.
• Experience in testing AI/ML models and computer vision systems is desirable.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
