Software QA- Automation

You will be joining Autodesk as a Software QA Engineer to contribute to the shaping of the future of Fusion Factory solutions. The primary focus will be on delivering innovative solutions that provide a Device Independent experience. Your role will involve working on software development for desktop and web applications. FlexSim, a discrete event manufacturing simulation software, will be a key component of the project. It is a 3D simulation software utilized in various industries like manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and more. Fusion Factory, part of the Fusion platform, will offer tools for designing, building, and operating factories. It aims to connect data from different Autodesk tools to facilitate real-time collaboration and decision-making in factory lifecycle management. Your responsibilities will include developing test strategies for comprehensive test coverage, collaborating with the Product Owner and Software Developers, implementing measures to validate quality standards, and analyzing test results to predict user behavior and identify bugs. You will also be responsible for coding and implementing automated tests for desktop app UI and ensuring the final product meets requirements. Minimum qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, 3+ years of experience in software development or quality assurance, proficiency in web frameworks, experience in automation frameworks and tools, and knowledge of programming languages like Java, C#, Python, or Visual Basic scripting. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, test management systems, troubleshooting complex software issues, and Agile methodologies is also required. Preferred qualifications include experience testing Desktop Applications like AutoCad/Inventor, knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, and familiarity with cloud services like Azure/AWS.
