Software Faculty

The Computer Software Programming Faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in software programming, software development methodologies, programming languages, and related areas. They will contribute to curriculum development, engage in research activities, mentor students, and participate in departmental service.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field (for tenure-track positions).
• Master's degree with significant industry experience may be acceptable for non-tenure track or teaching-focused roles.

Teaching:

• Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, labs, and seminars in various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, etc.), software engineering, algorithms, data structures, and related topics.
• Design and assess assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Engage students through interactive discussions, case studies, and problem-solving exercises.
• Develop and update course materials to align with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Experience:

• Demonstrated expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, etc.).
• Experience in teaching or lecturing at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• Research experience in software programming, software engineering, or a related field.
• Industry experience in software development, design, or testing is highly desirable.
• A track record of published research or involvement in projects of high academic or industry impact.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
