Software Engineering Lead

As a Software Developer at UST, you will play a crucial role in developing applications by creatively designing and selecting appropriate technical options. Your responsibilities will include interpreting application designs, coding, testing, documenting, and communicating product development stages while adhering to engineering processes and standards. You will be expected to optimize application development efficiency, cost, and quality by selecting suitable technical options such as reusing existing components or creating new solutions. Additionally, you will influence and improve customer satisfaction by setting and achieving FAST goals for yourself and the team, ensuring adherence to project schedules and timelines. Your key outcomes will involve adhering to coding standards, project schedules, and timelines while uncovering and addressing technical issues during project execution. You will be responsible for reviewing and creating unit test cases, managing project modules, defects, and knowledge sharing within the team. Furthermore, you will be required to engage with the customer domain, manage project deliveries, estimate project efforts, and contribute to the design and architecture of applications and features. Your role will also involve mentoring the team, managing technical challenges, and ensuring high levels of motivation and positive dynamics within the team. To be successful in this role, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in C++, C, Golang, and Linux, as well as knowledge of Agile methodologies, programming languages, DBMS, and software development life cycle. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and familiarity with tools like Jira/Confluence are also essential.
