Job Description

Lead and execute non-functional testing (NFT) strategies including performance, load, stress, scalability, and resilience testing across enterprise applications and platforms.
Design and implement test plans and scenarios to evaluate system behavior under expected and peak load conditions, ensuring systems meet SLAs and performance benchmarks.
Conduct capacity planning and modeling to forecast infrastructure needs and ensure systems can scale efficiently with business growth.
Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Locust, NeoLoad, Gatling, or similar.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to identify performance bottlenecks, root causes, and optimization opportunities across application layers.
Simulate real-world traffic and failure scenarios to validate system resilience, failover mechanisms, and recovery strategies.
Monitor and analyze system metrics (CPU, memory, I/O, network, etc.) during test execution using observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
Provide detailed performance reports and dashboards, including KPIs, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and capacity standards, contributing to the design of scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
Support continuous performance testing as part of CI/CD pipelines to detect regressions early in the development lifecycle.
Contribute to the development of performance SLAs and SLOs, and ensure they are met through proactive testing and monitoring.
Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in performance engineering, cloud scalability, and system resilience.
