Software Engineer_WFH

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, and testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Debug and resolve software defects, performance issues, and bugs.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Work on sustaining to provide development support for client reported issues.
• Continuously learn different technologies and improve your technical skills.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, ensuring that development practices are efficient and scalable.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in software engineering.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 2-4 years) in software development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., MUMPS, C++, JavaScript). Preferrable MUMPS/Cache technology or IRIS (Intersystem).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, MySQL etc.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs) is nice to have.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Healthcare Domain Expertise.
