Software Engineer - Web

As a candidate for this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications with a focus on high traffic and production-level issues. Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in web development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Familiarity with setting up, configuring, and using Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) such as Akamai, Cloudflare, or AWS CloudFront. - Strong debugging skills for client-side code, including experience with browser developer tools and network analysis. - Experience with version control (Git/GitHub), issue tracking (Jira), and CI/CD pipelines. - Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving high-traffic, production-level issues in a timely manner. Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred for this role: - Experience with tag management solutions, analytics platforms, or similar tracking/pixel-based integrations. - Experience with Akamai Edge Computing products, especially Edge Side Includes (ESI). - Familiarity with AWS-based services (S3, CloudFront, EC2, Lambda), Azure, or other cloud providers. - Knowledge of server-side scripting (Python, Node.js, or similar) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). - Experience working with large-scale partner integrations or e-commerce platforms. - Basic understanding of load balancers, proxies, and global traffic management.,
